Front Row in your AI assistant
Front Row has a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, or any assistant that speaks MCP, sign in once, and ask about your leagues in plain language. The spoiler shield still applies: an assistant only sees what you’ve already watched.
MCP server URL: https://frontrowleagues.com/mcp
What you can ask
- “When’s my next Bake Off deadline?”
- “Have I made my picks for this week in every league?”
- “How am I doing in my Traitors league?”
- “Who did I draft, and who’s on my squad now?”
- “What are the scoring rules for Petit Le Mans?”
Set it up
- Copy the Front Row MCP URL. The server lives at https://frontrowleagues.com/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth sign-in, which current Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code clients support.
- Add it as a custom connector. In your assistant’s connector or MCP settings, add a new remote server named Front Row and paste the URL. No API key is needed.
- Sign in and allow access. Your assistant opens Front Row’s sign-in. Sign in with the same email or Google account you play with, then choose Allow on the consent screen.
- Ask about your leagues. Turn on the Front Row tools in a chat and ask about deadlines, your picks, or the standings. Make your picks in the app; the assistant links you to the right league.
Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Front Row, paste the URL, and add it.
- Click Connect, sign in to Front Row, and choose Allow.
- In a chat, switch Front Row on from the tools menu.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Custom connectors may need Developer mode, under Advanced settings.
- Create a connector named Front Row, paste the URL, and pick OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in to Front Row and choose Allow when prompted.
- Add Front Row to a chat from the tools menu.
Claude Code
- Run the command below in a terminal.
- Start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick front-row, and finish sign-in in the browser.
claude mcp add --transport http front-row https://frontrowleagues.com/mcp
Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients
- Add Front Row as a remote (HTTP) MCP server. In Cursor, add the entry below to mcp.json; in VS Code, run MCP: Add Server and choose HTTP.
- The first time a tool runs, the client opens a browser window so you can sign in and allow access.

What the assistant can see
The tools are read-only, plus proposals you approve in the app, and they run as you, so the spoiler shield holds: standings stay frozen at the last episode you’ve watched until you reveal them in the app. Picks are still made on Front Row; nothing an assistant proposes changes until you approve it there.
my_leagues: Your leagues, your role in each, and the next pick deadline.get_my_picks: Your own squad and round-by-round predictions, with names.get_standings: The leaderboard, frozen at the last episode you’ve watched.get_pick_status: How many of your league are in for the next deadline (counts only).list_games: Every game on the marquee and whether it’s open.get_game: A game’s live scoring rules, full round schedule, and which proposals it takes.list_proposals: Changes proposed for you, whether each is still valid, and what happened to earlier ones.get_proposal: One proposal’s status and outcome.cancel_proposal: Withdraw a pending proposal the assistant made.
Questions
Can I use Front Row with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Front Row runs a remote MCP server at https://frontrowleagues.com/mcp. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client, sign in to Front Row, and ask about your leagues, deadlines, picks and standings.
Will an AI assistant spoil results I haven’t watched?
No. The assistant reads as you, so the spoiler shield applies exactly as it does in the app: standings stay frozen at the last episode you’ve watched until you reveal them on Front Row. The assistant is also told not to look up or guess hidden results.
Can the assistant make picks for me?
Not directly. An assistant can see your leagues, your own picks, deadlines and standings, but it can’t submit picks or change a league. In games that support it, an assistant can propose a change, such as a transfer, which you approve or decline in the app. Nothing changes until you approve it, and approving never happens from an email link.
What can a connected assistant see?
Only what you can see when signed in: your leagues, your own picks, the standings you’ve unlocked, and pick counts for the next deadline. It never sees other players’ picks before they lock.
How does Front Row protect me from fake apps?
Two ways. The consent screen only lets you approve a connection that returns to a recognised assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code) or to an app on your own computer, so a look-alike app with a convincing name can’t be approved. And every assistant connection is read-only all the way down, plus proposals you approve in the app: even a token you approved can’t make picks, change a league, or move your watch progress. The most it can do is leave a suggestion for you to decline.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
Open your Front Row profile and choose Disconnect next to the assistant under AI assistants. You can also remove the connector in the assistant’s own settings.
Does it cost anything?
No. Front Row is free, and so is connecting it to an assistant. There are no ads, coins or gambling.
